Game Speed Flag Football was created to give kids in our community a fun, safe, and positive environment to learn the game of football, build confidence, and compete at all levels. Our mission is simple:
Teach fundamentals. Build character. Create memories.
We believe in the power of sports to develop discipline, teamwork, and resilience that carry far beyond the field. Our league welcomes players of all skill levels — from beginners to experienced athletes — and focuses on teaching proper technique, sportsmanship, and love for the game in a structured, well-organized setting.
Our Founder
Game Speed Sports and Game Speed Flag Football was founded by Pro Football Hall of Famer Julius Peppers. Following his playing career with the Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers, he transitioned into coaching, mentoring, and working with youth athletes across multiple sports. His passion is providing kids with an opportunity to learn, grow, and develop both on and off the field.
While remaining behind the scenes in day-to-day operations, his experience, leadership, and dedication help shape the league’s philosophy, leadership standards, and commitment to player development.
